Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Engineer in ANZ's Tech Digital Channels division, you will apply an engineering mindset to quality, ensuring complex features are delivered reliably in a fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to embed testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with peers to solve day‑to‑day testing and engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with quality engineers and stakeholders to identify risks early and fix bugs as they arise.
• Test early and often, building fast and reliable test suites that support release processes.
• Coach engineers on test automation best practices.
• Work with chapter leads to pinpoint improvement areas and drive implementations.
• Contribute reusable libraries and tools to continuously improve testing outcomes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a quality engineer.
• Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and define what “good” looks like.
• Strong communication skills to create shared clarity with business and technology peers.

Required skills

• Automated test suite development and maintenance.
• Testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) sites.
• Web application testing.
• Native mobile testing on iOS and Android.
• REST and GraphQL API testing.
• Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
