Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with production teams, the role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and continuously improving product quality to meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor in‑process and final product quality on the shop floor.
• Improve quality of incoming, in‑process, and outgoing products through data and defect‑trend analysis.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and apply statistical quality control (SQC) methods to reduce fixed and variable defects.
• Support manufacturing with timely inspections and coordinate third‑party inspection visits.
• Analyse and resolve customer complaints using the 8‑D problem‑solving approach.
• Perform in‑process and final shipment audits and maintain quality management systems.
• Identify potential quality issues proactively and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with ASME AI for shop‑floor inspections and address AI‑related quality concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance within an industrial setting.
• Willingness to work in a three‑shift environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
