Design Engineer - Hull

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in hull structures to join our engineering team. You will work closely with clients and internal designers to deliver detailed hull designs for a variety of shipbuilding and offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed hull structural models for design projects.
• Assist team members with hull‑design tasks and provide coaching where needed.
• Complete detailed designs using industry‑standard 3D software.
• Coordinate work, review drawings, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Contribute to the creation of hull, foundations, and related vessel details.
• Maintain close coordination of all engineering activities within each project.
• Be ready to relocate to client sites, domestically or internationally, on short notice.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the organization.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or naval architecture.
• 2–3 years of experience in shipbuilding or offshore design.
• Strong communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to continue developing technical knowledge.
• Commitment to a minimum one‑year service period with the company.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D ship design software such as Aveva Marine, Cadmatic, or Ship Constructor.
