Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure that our manufactured switch‑gear products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with production, engineering and suppliers to monitor, audit and improve manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough material inspections against approved drawings, technical specifications and test certificates.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, calibration records, Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR), QAP documents and work instructions.
• Manage quality clearance in SAP QM, ensuring consistent product quality.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of non‑conformances using 4Q, DMAIC, 7QC, 8D and drive corrective actions.
• Develop incoming inspection plans (IIP), checklists and Critical‑to‑Quality (CTQ) parameters for supplier material.
• Train third‑party quality staff on basic test routines and standard procedures.
• Monitor production First‑Pass‑Yield (FPY) data, identify repeat failure modes and implement improvement projects.
• Execute outgoing inspections, ensure no product leaves with open non‑conformances, and support daily Gemba walks.
• Maintain REIWA lessons‑learned database and upload monthly quality data to the RELEX tool.
• Support internal and external ISO 9001:2015 audits and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, preferably with switch‑gear products.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and auditing practices.
