Quality Assurance Intern – Food Production

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Quality Intern to join our plant in Anekal. You will support the quality and food‑safety team in ensuring that raw materials, processing operations and finished products meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor product conformance of raw material, packaging material and finished goods.
• Check cleaning procedures, GMP and 5S compliance across the plant.
• Implement and verify HACCP, OPRP and PRP controls.
• Handle consumer complaints, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct statistical process monitoring and suggest improvements.
• Perform chemical and microbiological analysis of raw materials, packaging and water.
• Carry out sensory evaluation of raw and finished products.
• Monitor personal hygiene, pest‑control effectiveness and provide shop‑floor training.
• Update QA documentation and revise SOPs as needed.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Food Technology or BSc/MSc in Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology (fresh graduate).
• Fluent in English and the native regional language.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Interest in FMCG/food production environment.
