Quality Assurance Executive (Apparel Production)

About the role

Aramya is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Executive to lead the QA function for both internal production and external contract manufacturers. You will ensure that every garment meets the brand’s high standards of quality, from design to final finishing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire quality assurance process for internal and external garment production.
• Collaborate with design, production, and sourcing teams to enforce quality standards at each production stage.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections (AQL) during fabric inspection, pattern making, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
• Work closely with vendors to resolve quality issues and elevate their processes.
• Maintain deep knowledge of garment construction techniques, materials, and production methods.
• Train and mentor QA team members on best practices.
• Generate weekly and monthly quality reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in the apparel industry, preferably women’s ethnic wear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fit evaluation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Experience managing relationships with external manufacturing vendors.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Certification in quality management or garment inspection is a plus.
