QCC Maintenance & Safety Technician

About the role

The QCC Maintenance & Safety Technician ensures production equipment reliability and drives a strong safety culture at our pizza manufacturing facility. Working primarily first‑shift, you will support both maintenance operations and comprehensive safety programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety orientation and ongoing training, including first aid/CPR and annual re‑training.
• Audit safety program compliance, coordinate hearing tests, and serve as a resource during OSHA inspections.
• Perform daily and weekly hazard assessments, quarterly safety self‑audits, and submit weekly safety reports.
• Maintain safety records such as OSHA 300 logs, work permits, LOTO procedures, and training documentation.
• Participate in safety committees, webinars, and R&R meetings, providing weekly safety topics to operations.
• Act as liaison for workers’ compensation claims, gather documentation, and coordinate return‑to‑work processes.
• Assist in root‑cause investigations and ensure corrective actions are documented and effective.
• Coordinate relationships with the facility’s occupational clinic.

Required profile

• Experience in maintenance or safety roles within a production environment.
• Ability to lead safety training, conduct audits, and manage incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to management and corporate safety teams.

Required skills

• OSHA‑30 training (preferred).
• CSP certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures.
• First aid and CPR certification.
