Python & Snowflake Data Developer

About the role

This hybrid position is for a developer with three to five years of experience who specializes in Python and Snowflake SQL. You will build reliable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business decision‑making across multiple domains in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data processing solutions using Python.
• Develop optimized Snowflake SQL scripts for loading, transforming, and querying large data sets.
• Create reusable Python modules to streamline data integration, validation, and transformation.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines that move data from diverse sources into Snowflake.
• Implement detailed data quality checks with Python and Snowflake SQL.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Optimize Snowflake queries and table structures to reduce compute costs while preserving performance.
• Document technical solutions, data models, and job schedules for easy maintenance.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, identify failures, and apply corrective actions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proven experience writing complex Snowflake SQL queries and managing Snowflake workflows.
• Strong understanding of data‑warehousing concepts such as star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and partitioning.
• Familiarity with version‑control systems and collaborative development practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and services that integrate with Snowflake.
