Python Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design and build robust backend systems that power scalable applications. The role focuses on delivering clean architecture, efficient code, and reliable services to solve real‑world problems. You will work in an agile environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications and services using Python.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and data‑driven features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑structured code following best practices.
• Design database schemas and optimise queries in PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.
• Collaborate with product, frontend and engineering teams to deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues.
• Improve system performance, scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and core programming concepts.
• Experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI frameworks.
• Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.
• Version control using Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of containerisation with Docker.
• Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, data processing and automation scripting.
