Python Developer – Data Science & QA

About the role

The Infosys delivery team is looking for a Python Developer to support client‑facing quality assurance and digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with customers to resolve issues, ensure high satisfaction, and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Gather and analyse requirements, create and review designs, and validate architecture.
• Participate in project estimation, provide solution delivery inputs, and conduct technical risk planning.
• Perform code reviews, unit‑test plan reviews and guide teams toward optimized, high‑quality code.
• Maintain knowledge management practices and adhere to organisational guidelines and processes.
• Contribute to building efficient programs and systems that support clients’ digital transformation journeys.

Required profile

• Knowledge of more than one technology and basics of architecture and design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with testing tools, agile methodologies and project life‑cycle activities.
• Understanding of estimation methodologies, quality processes and basic business domain concepts.
• Strong analytical abilities, technical aptitude and good communication skills.
• Awareness of latest technology trends and ability to apply software quality assurance and SOLID design principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging and analytical skills.
