Python Backend Developer

About the role

Kavi India Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance, secure enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of hands‑on Python development experience and a strong grasp of modern web frameworks and cloud‑native architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Python code for web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Develop services using FastAPI, Django, or Flask and integrate with databases via SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Design application architecture, technical interfaces, and detailed software specifications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Implement unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Analyze business requirements, propose implementation plans, and improve existing applications.
• Monitor application health, resolve defects, and provide production support as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and UI teams.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven ability to build scalable backend services and APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
