Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for raw materials, packaging and related supplies needed for the production of hygienic products. This full‑time remote position works closely with production, finance and logistics teams to ensure a reliable supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and service level agreements.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities with production, finance and logistics departments.
• Analyze market trends and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives while safeguarding product quality and supply reliability.

Required profile

• Strong procurement and purchasing expertise, including supplier sourcing and contract negotiation.
• Experience in inventory management, demand forecasting and cost control within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, environmental and safety compliance for hygienic or consumer products.
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement software, data analysis tools and basic MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in detergent, hygiene or related manufacturing sectors is preferred.
