Purchasing Executive – Hotel Procurement

About the role

The Purchasing Executive will lead the procurement function for a luxury hotel, ensuring that all goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with brand standards. You will work closely with hotel departments to guarantee timely availability of quality materials.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities aligned with hotel operational needs.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase recommendations.
• Ensure procurement complies with hotel specifications, standards, and approved vendor lists.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in hotel purchasing, procurement, or supply‑chain operations.
• Knowledge of hotel purchasing procedures, vendor management, and cost control.
• Experience sourcing food & beverage, housekeeping supplies, engineering materials, and operating equipment is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and procurement systems.
