Purchase & Store Executive

About the role

Ciarens, an eco‑luxury resort on Palolem Beach, is preparing for its October opening and needs a Purchase & Store Executive to establish and run procurement and store operations across kitchen, F&B, housekeeping and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up procurement processes, vendor base and store systems during the pre‑opening phase.
• Manage purchasing for kitchen, food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance requirements.
• Source, negotiate and maintain relationships with local vendors, including fresh seafood, produce and dry‑goods suppliers.
• Receive, inspect and store goods while ensuring quality, par‑stock levels and FIFO practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, indents and issue registers.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef, Housekeeping and Finance on budgets and cost tracking.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile records.
• Support eco‑conscious sourcing aligned with the resort’s positioning.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of purchasing and store experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Supply Chain or Commerce.
• Familiarity with inventory/procurement software and Tally.
• Understanding of perishable goods handling and local Goa vendor networks is an advantage.
