Purchase Manager

About the role

As a Purchase Manager for Radisson Blu in Guwahati, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple product and service categories, driving cost efficiency while maintaining high quality standards. You will act as a key partner to local business leaders and the corporate procurement team, ensuring alignment with the Group’s global policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for goods and services across Central, Southern and Eastern Europe.
• Manage supplier performance, focusing on total cost of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and service level agreements in line with corporate procurement policies.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, finance and local business leaders to drive cost reductions and enhance product quality.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and cost.
• Support the Operations team to increase compliance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of successful sourcing experience in a cross‑cultural, matrix environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and hold accountability for results.
