Purchase Executive – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

The Purchase Executive will manage the procurement process for a beverage/FMCG company, ensuring that raw materials, perishable goods and factory supplies are sourced at the best price and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing procedures for materials, supplies and equipment used in projects.
• Source raw materials such as fruits, vegetables and fruit‑based products, as well as ancillary factory requirements, evaluating multiple vendors.
• Research and select suppliers based on quality, price and reliability.
• Create purchase orders according to specifications and supervisor directives.
• Liaise with vendors to guarantee timely receipt and check shipments for quality compliance.
• Monitor pricing trends to secure optimal value for the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or a similar role.
• Knowledge of purchasing, contract and specification writing.
• Experience with organic material sourcing is an advantage.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive verbal and written communication skills.
• Local candidates and quick joiners preferred; out‑station candidates not considered.
