Purchase Executive

About the role

The automation industry company in Navi Mumbai is looking for a Purchase Executive to lead the procurement of electrical and electronic components. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role collaborates closely with stores, sales and accounts teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery for projects.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end procurement and purchasing activities for electrical and electronic components.
• Identify and qualify vendors, obtain quotations and compare prices.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and finalize purchase orders.
• Generate, track and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and material availability with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases.
• Work closely with stores, sales and accounts teams to support seamless material flow.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchase or procurement.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic products/components.
• Experience in vendor management and negotiation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
