Purchase Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive to manage end‑to‑end procurement of raw and packaging materials for our fast‑growing D2C Ayurvedic brand. You will ensure timely availability of supplies, maintain strong vendor relationships and support seamless production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full procurement cycle for raw materials, packaging and operational items.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Compare quotations, negotiate pricing and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, accounts and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Track inventory levels, maintain optimal stock and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, agreements and documentation.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and explore alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the procurement process.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in FMCG, cosmetics, Ayurveda, healthcare or D2C.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement timelines efficiently.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
