Public Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to develop and execute PR strategies that align with our brand and business goals. The role involves crafting compelling communication materials and building strong media relationships to enhance brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive PR plans supporting brand objectives.
• Write, edit, and distribute press releases, media notes, and other communication assets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media agencies across print, digital, TV, and online platforms.
• Pitch stories proactively to secure media coverage and manage ongoing media relations.
• Plan and execute product launches, press conferences, media events, brand collaborations, and campaign activations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Social Media, and Leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor media coverage, produce reports, and evaluate PR campaign performance.
• Identify newsworthy opportunities and develop story angles that boost brand exposure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a PR agency.
• Proven track record of writing press releases, media pitches, and communication materials.
• Strong network of media contacts across various platforms.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end PR campaigns and reporting on results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
