Project Sourcing Buyer

About the role

Orange Business is looking for a dedicated Project Sourcing Buyer to join its global procurement team. The role focuses on local sourcing activities, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while driving cost efficiency and supply continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and support local sourcing needs.
• Negotiate contracts and manage back‑to‑back agreements with suppliers.
• Work with Legal, Business Units and end‑users to mitigate procurement risks.
• Gather and analyse local market intelligence to guide purchasing decisions.
• Maintain and validate the local commodities demand plan.
• Support local audits and ensure supplier compliance.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, including process digitalisation.
• Run RFP processes to achieve cost savings and meet targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in local purchasing and supplier relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑risk management capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, business units and users.
• Familiarity with procurement compliance standards and audit procedures.
• Track record of delivering cost savings through structured RFPs.
