Project Scheduler – Railway Projects

About the role

The Project Scheduler will lead the planning and control of railway consultancy assignments for our Gurgaon office. You will work closely with design, engineering, procurement and client teams to keep projects on track and deliver key milestones on time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for railway projects.
• Define activities, sequencing, durations and dependencies.
• Monitor progress, update schedules weekly/monthly and conduct delay analysis.
• Prepare look‑ahead schedules (2‑week and 4‑week plans).
• Coordinate with civil, signaling, track, electrification and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Generate progress dashboards, MIS reports and support risk assessment.
• Track design submissions, approvals and client reviews.
• Assist in Extension of Time (EOT) claims and documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and present schedule status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7‑10 years of experience in project scheduling.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on railway or metro projects.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
