Project Manager – Nuclear Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead nuclear projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring compliance with international standards and national regulations. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and delivering safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and close nuclear projects in line with international nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with national regulatory authorities, government directives and recognized quality and safety standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI, nuclear QA frameworks).
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, utilities and regulatory bodies to align project objectives, licensing and safety expectations.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, resource plans and risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, regulatory documentation and status updates for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, communicate progress, risks, issues and corrective actions clearly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Nuclear Engineering/Technology or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of project management experience in nuclear energy, nuclear construction, government nuclear programmes or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks, quality assurance/quality control programmes and nuclear safety principles.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects in highly regulated environments and work effectively with regulatory authorities and multiple stakeholders.
