Project Manager (Night Shift)

About the role

JMT Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead its Steel Detailing team on a night‑shift schedule. The role involves overseeing project execution from design through client delivery while coordinating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to drafting and junior engineering staff and coordinate design work.
• Schedule and allocate resources to meet construction timelines and client expectations.
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs and design change summaries throughout the project.
• Review and revise drawing packages to ensure compliance with client standards and quality requirements.
• Conduct daily progress reviews and maintain task management systems according to JMT Tekla workflow.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent postgraduate qualification).
• 8+ years experience in steel detailing and 5+ years in project management.
• Proven experience on commercial US projects and familiarity with AISC & CISC standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Tekla Structures.
• Knowledge of AISC Standards.
• Knowledge of CISC Standards.
• Model checking and erection checking.
