Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of public financial management projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and implementation teams to ensure projects meet defined scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects within defined scope, time, and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocation strategies, and governance frameworks.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and implementation teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project performance through KPIs and prepare status reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate communication among cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract and procurement activities where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, program management, or related leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery models.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven experience in budget management, resource planning, risk management, and performance monitoring.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects in complex environments.
• Preferred experience in public financial management (PFM) projects and familiarity with government, finance, treasury, budgeting, or revenue management initiatives.
