Project Leader – IT Operations & Agile Delivery

About the role

The Project Leader will drive cross‑functional teams in Bangalore and coordinate with European partners to deliver IT operations and software development projects using Agile methodologies. This senior role combines project management, Scrum Master duties, and supplier oversight within an aerospace communication environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross‑functional teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals and service‑delivery targets.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and report progress with appropriate metrics.
• Develop team autonomy, accountability, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, communicate status to stakeholders, and manage escalations with corrective actions.
• Oversee performance management, training, and feedback for team members.
• Collaborate with European and Indian business counterparts to define strategy, road‑maps, and budget management.
• Support IT enablement, supplier enablement, and up‑skilling as required.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate with 7+ years of experience in project management and IT operations.
• Proven leadership in managing multiple operations teams and delivering services.
• Experience as a Scrum Master (minimum 2 years) and familiarity with Agile/SAFe principles.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and service‑delivery architecture.
• Ability to work across domains, manage suppliers/vendors, and travel short‑term to Europe.
• Awareness of quality management systems and aerospace communication IT supplier management.
