Project Engineer – Buildings

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Project Engineer – Buildings to lead on‑site execution of residential and commercial construction projects in Mangaluru. You will work closely with contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities, manage resources and monitor progress against the project plan.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documents to verify compliance.
• Prepare and present progress reports, maintain project documentation and support hand‑over procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory and quality control requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
• Collaborate with project management to optimise timelines, costs and overall quality.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction, preferably residential and commercial projects in Karnataka.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations and quality control practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency with project management or construction software.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
