Professor / Associate Professor – Management

About the role

Shivalik College of Engineering, Dehradun is seeking experienced, research‑oriented academicians for the positions of Associate Professor and Professor in the Department of Management. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, advancing curriculum, and contributing to the college’s research and industry engagement agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate Management courses with excellence.
• Develop and regularly update curricula aligned with industry trends.
• Conduct and publish research in Scopus, ABDC, SCI/SSCI, and UGC CARE‑listed journals.
• Guide student projects, dissertations, internships, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Foster industry‑academia collaborations and corporate engagements.
• Organise conferences, workshops, faculty development programmes, and other academic activities.
• Contribute to accreditation processes such as NAAC, NBA, and NIRF.
• Mentor students for placements, higher studies, and professional development.
• Participate in departmental administration and institutional development.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management or a related specialization from a recognised university.
• MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record.
• Minimum 8 years (Associate Professor) or 10 years (Professor) of teaching, research, or industry experience as per UGC/AICTE norms.
• Demonstrated research and publication record; for Professor level, evidence of academic leadership, funded projects, consultancy, patents, or similar contributions.
• Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic administration is an advantage.
