Production Operator

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Production Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role involves operating and monitoring equipment on the production floor, ensuring that processes run smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines and equipment according to current process specifications.
• Provide machine coverage during breaks and log machine data accurately.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify discrepancies, and communicate issues promptly to the lead.
• Maintain quality of process and product, organize workstations, and follow 6S principles.
• Suggest improvements for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Complete required certifications, recertifications, and on‑the‑job training.
• Communicate pass‑downs clearly and provide feedback to leadership.
• Identify hazards, follow safety protocols, and use proper lifting techniques.

Required profile

• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts with a bi‑weekly rotation between day and night.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions to increase knowledge.
• Commitment to a safe and compliant work environment.
