Production Manager – OSD Compression

About the role

The Production Manager will lead and supervise manufacturing activities in the OSD Compression area of a pharmaceutical plant. This role ensures that daily and monthly production targets are met while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and supervise machine‑wise production activities in the compression area.
• Monitor in‑process parameters online, complete log books and batch manufacturing records (BMR).
• Ensure machine availability according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with IPQA, QC, Engineering, IT, and MSTG departments for smooth production flow.
• Handle SAP transactions related to production and maintain cGMP documentation.
• Oversee calibration and verification of balances and other equipment.
• Manage shift handovers, manpower allocation, and daily assessment reporting.
• Investigate deviations, incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• 14–18 years of experience in pharmaceutical shop‑floor production, specifically OSD compression.
• B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• Strong understanding of cGMP documentation and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, maintain discipline, and provide training.
