Product Stewardship Associate II

About the role

This position ensures continuity and growth by complying with hazard communication regulations for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. The associate prepares and maintains Safety Data Sheets and labels, supports new product introductions, and provides regulatory guidance to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and maintain Safety Data Sheets and product labels in line with regional regulatory requirements.
• Manage material introductions, classifications, and labeling, including dangerous goods classifications.
• Provide regulatory approval in material master workflows for product creation, extensions, and translations.
• Support SAP data management, SDS and label template maintenance, and participate in change‑management processes (MOC/NOC).
• Respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with global customers, suppliers, and internal functions on hazard‑communication needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, life science, environmental science, engineering, pharmacy, industrial hygiene or equivalent.
• 4‑6 years of experience in chemical industry product stewardship, regulatory compliance, or EHS.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP, especially the SAP EHS module.
• Knowledge of global chemical regulatory frameworks (EMEAI, AMR, APAC).
• Experience creating and managing Safety Data Sheets and product labels.
• Familiarity with dangerous goods classification and notification of change processes.
