Product Stewardship Associate I

About the role

Momentive is seeking a Product Stewardship Associate to join its Global Product Stewardship Team in Bangalore. The role focuses on hazard communication, safety data sheet authoring, and regulatory compliance for chemicals and specialty products.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in line with regional regulations.
• Provide regulatory approval in material master workflows for product creation, extension, and translation, ensuring hazard communication needs are met.
• Support new product introductions, classifications, labeling, and management of change processes.
• Interact with global customers, suppliers, and internal functions to address hazard communication and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory compliance, EHS, or related chemical industry roles.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Experience using SDS authoring platforms.
