Product Owner – Trajectory Optimizer (TrajOpt)

About the role

Airbus India is looking for a Product Owner to lead the Trajectory Optimizer (TrajOpt) product within the Airline Sciences team of the Digital department. You will shape the product vision, manage the backlog, and collaborate closely with customers, data scientists, developers, and business experts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the TrajOpt product team and own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle.
• Define, refine and prioritize user stories derived from epics and features.
• Work with the Product Manager to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure delivery aligns with the product roadmap.
• Act as the primary reference point for stakeholders across Airbus India.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of professional experience in product ownership or product management.
• Strong analytical mindset, high energy, and a passion for technology and problem solving.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, globally distributed team.
