Product Owner - Methods & Tools

About the role

Join Airbus India’s Engineering Methods & Tools team as a Product Owner. You will drive digital solutions for engineering challenges, working across core verticals to deliver web‑based tools, data‑driven designs, and workflow automation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and prioritize the product backlog.
• Define, refine, and own the implementation backlog aligned with the roadmap and product strategy.
• Write and review acceptance criteria, conduct validation, and demo the solution to end users.
• Perform business acceptance testing, capture bugs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage quality gates, documentation updates, and continuous release management.
• Collect feedback from deployments and prioritize feature enhancements.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with 8+ years of experience, including at least 3 years as a Product Owner.
• Strong knowledge of Airbus business processes and configuration management.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex product lifecycles.
• Relevant certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe PO/PM.

Required skills

• Configuration Management, Electrical Systems design and installation.
• Airbus design applications: TDM/PDM (Catia, VPM), APS.
• Airbus data platforms: CoreAll, EBAM, Skywise.
• Agile Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
• Tools: JIRA, VersionOne.
