Product Experience Researcher (Statistics)

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Product Experience Researcher (Statistics) in Bengaluru, India. This is an onsite role within the Product Experience team, which works with researchers, the Descriptive Panel leader and technicians to develop flavors for food and beverage brands.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze quantitative consumer and sensory data using statistical models and turn it into insights and recommendations.
• Design quantitative consumer tests and generate sensory and consumer data.
• Identify and implement sensory and consumer insights methods that match project objectives.
• Conduct qualitative consumer research, from writing moderator guides to moderating sessions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design research and present findings to internal stakeholders and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Food Science, Neuroscience or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in statistics and data analysis; sensory experience is a plus.
• Ability to support less experienced team members and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Expertise in quantitative research methods and advanced statistical techniques.
• Experience with advanced research tools such as XLSTAT.
