Product Designer – Jewellery (0-3 yrs)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Jaipur‑based jewellery studio. The role blends creative design with hands‑on product development, allowing you to work on original collections as well as translate client briefs into finished pieces.

Key responsibilities

• Create design pitches, moodboards and presentations for client projects.
• Develop jewellery concepts based on briefs, references and brand aesthetics.
• Coordinate with artisans throughout sample development, revisions and approvals.
• Maintain and organise both physical and digital sample libraries.
• Prepare technical drawings and product documentation.
• Collaborate with the CAD designer, providing design inputs when required.
• Assist with product costing and maintain costing records.
• Conduct trend, material and market research.
• Maintain project trackers, spreadsheets and documentation.
• Support projects for our own retail brand, Ambersands, as needed.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in jewellery design, product design or product development (fresh graduates welcome).
• Degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Accessory Design, Product Design or a related field.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving approach.

• Basic understanding of CAD (optional but beneficial)
• Basic Excel knowledge
