Procurement Specialist – Vendor Management & PO Processing

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage vendor enquiries, negotiate contracts, and oversee purchase order (PO) processing using digital platforms such as Ariba and SAP. The role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with technical and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Float enquiries to RVL vendors via MOSS/Ariba after receiving material requisitions.
• Follow up with vendors for immediate responses and shortlist offers.
• Coordinate with vendor, PMT, Engineering, and QA teams for technical closure and issue RFP events in Ariba.
• Negotiate price, delivery, and payment terms; prepare cost estimation sheets.
• Prepare PO clearance documentation, issue LOI/PO through SAP & Ariba, and manage advance, milestone, and retention payments.
• Conduct vendor performance and financial evaluations, develop new vendors, and update PO/payment status.
• Initiate TP transfer requests to MIS and ensure post‑order delivery management and expediting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary QA, PMT, and Engineering teams to resolve document review issues.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement processes and vendor management.
• Familiarity with digital procurement platforms (Ariba, SAP, MOSS).
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, quality, and project management teams.
