Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end purchase order (PO) lifecycle, ensuring that vendors receive timely orders and payments so that products are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Release purchase orders and payments to vendors within defined service‑level agreements.
• Validate PO details such as item description, pricing, HSN codes, taxes, delivery timelines and payment terms.
• Raise POs for selected items and maintain PO and payment metrics.
• Coordinate with internal teams to update delivery and payment status.
• Conduct regular open‑PO reconciliations and own the PO closure process.
• Audit process gaps, propose and implement SOPs to close them.
• Address customer and vendor escalations promptly to improve experience.

Required profile

• UG graduate (any specialization).
• 3‑5 years of experience, preferably in startup operations or the MEP, HVAC, interior fit‑out sector.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and high ownership.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Experience working in an ERP environment.
