Quantity Surveyor – Precast Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage costs for precast construction projects from feasibility through to completion. You will monitor project budgets, verify site measurements and ensure cost‑effective use of materials, playing a key part in profitability and financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Track actual site material consumption and labour deployment, and reconcile quantities with production and dispatch logs.
• Visit sites to verify measurements, compare planned vs. actual costs and prepare variance reports with corrective action plans.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure cost alignment, validate vendor bills and raise alerts for quantity deviations.
• Maintain cost control documentation such as quantity take‑offs, measurement books and approval logs.
• Support earned value analysis (EVA), project forecasts and periodic cost reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–6 years of experience in quantity surveying, with mandatory precast construction experience.
