Procurement Manager – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end sourcing of fruit pulp, dairy, dry fruits, spices, packaging and other agri‑based raw materials for our Paper Boat beverage portfolio. You will build a resilient, quality‑first vendor base across India and international markets while supporting seasonal product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle – PR, RFQ, PO creation, vendor negotiation, contracting and PO‑to‑GRN closure for raw materials and packaging.
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for seasonal agri‑linked inputs, planning harvest windows and buffer stocks.
• Identify, qualify and onboard vendors, including farmer collectives and Fairtrade‑certified suppliers, through audits and sample evaluation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and rate contracts; monitor global commodity price movements.
• Track supplier OTIF and quality performance, lead vendor review meetings and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, demand planning and R&D to align procurement with production schedules and festival launches.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives via specification rationalisation, vendor consolidation and local sourcing development.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and MIS reports for management review.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation and vendor management experience, preferably in agri‑commodity or perishable raw material sourcing.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management and supplier performance frameworks within a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, quality, R&D and finance teams.
