About the role
ABB is looking for a Procurement & Logistics Specialist to support its Process Automation business in Bangalore. You will help optimise costs, quality and reliability of suppliers while ensuring compliance with ABB’s purchasing and logistics standards.
Key responsibilities
- Execute purchasing and logistics strategies that optimise cost, quality and supplier reliability.
- Design and implement local sourcing plans to meet business targets.
- Support the rollout of sourcing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Apply ABB procurement standards, tools and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
- Maintain compliance with ABB procedures and deliver training programmes as required.
Required profile
- Engineering graduate with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Clear understanding of ABB customers’ needs and expectations.
- Proactive in personal development and learning within the team.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
