Procurement Buyer – RRD Estimator

About the role

The Procurement Buyer (RRD Estimator) will support end‑to‑end sourcing and procurement activities, acting as the primary liaison between estimation teams, vendors, and RRD plants. The role ensures accurate pricing, cost optimisation, timely delivery and compliance with internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact between vendors and category managers.
• Gather US market specifications and initiate RFQs.
• Issue RFQs, follow up for pricing, lead times and production details.
• Evaluate vendor quotes on cost, turnaround, quality and payment terms.
• Analyse quotations, negotiate pricing and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Create and process purchase orders in ERP systems and submit orders for production.
• Maintain sourcing trackers and Smartsheet tickets with up‑to‑date status.
• Monitor order execution, track shipments, handle escalations and ensure proof of delivery.
• Prepare and submit cost‑saving reports when applicable.
• Participate in weekly calls with on‑shore leadership to discuss updates and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace/G‑Suite (Sheets, Forms, Slides, Studio).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, ServiceNow and ARIBA.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and applications.
• Solid understanding of the full procurement lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet for ticket management and issue tracking.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
