Analyst - Procurement

About the role

Flex, a diversified manufacturing partner, is seeking an Analyst – Procurement for its Chennai location. The role involves fast‑paced processing of purchase orders, delivering excellent stakeholder service, and collaborating with a team to meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage C‑class items procurement through the full purchasing cycle from purchase request to purchase order, supplier confirmation, delivery follow‑up, and payment coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors to track delivery status and resolve shortages or excesses.
• Generate and review Open Purchase Order and Shortage reports on time.
• Execute pull‑in, push‑out, and cancellation actions based on MRP reports to meet KPI targets.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels according to site requirements.
• Handle purchase order changes, supplier database updates, and urgent receipt management.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.Com/B.B.A/B.Sc degree.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (not mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
