Principal Recruiter – Data, Analytics & AI

About the role

Factspan is looking for a Senior Principal Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for its Data, Analytics and AI teams. Based in Bangalore, you will partner with hiring managers to build high‑performing technical teams and promote Factspan as an employer of choice.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Talent Acquisition Partner, conducting deep‑dive job intake sessions to define technical and behavioural requirements.
• Source and attract top talent through creative methods, networking, internal referrals and events.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop detailed candidate profiles and provide data‑driven advice on talent pools.
• Conduct market mapping, competitive intelligence and diversity hiring reporting.
• Manage offer negotiations, compensation packages and seamless onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with local hiring regulations.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech with an MBA (HR) or equivalent.
• 8‑16 years of core technical recruiting experience, especially in Data Engineering, Data Science and Analytics.
• Proven ability to multitask, self‑organise and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, storytelling and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Boolean and X‑Ray search techniques.
• Proficiency with niche platforms such as GitHub and Kaggle.
• Expert use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and real‑time reporting.
• Experience tracking and reporting on diversity hiring initiatives.
