Preprimary Teacher

About the role

Natraj Juniors School is seeking a dedicated Preprimary Teacher to join its early‑childhood team in Girwa. You will create a nurturing, engaging environment where young learners develop foundational academic, social and emotional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons and activities that promote literacy, numeracy, creativity and social interaction.
• Prepare instructional materials, visual aids and classroom resources for daily sessions.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to children and parents.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student development and classroom events.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to align with the school’s curriculum and vision.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Education, Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching pre‑primary or early‑childhood students.
• Patience, empathy and a child‑centered approach.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with children, families and colleagues.
• Basic understanding of child development and classroom‑management best practices.
