About the role
The German Trainer will teach German language to individuals or groups, delivering lessons both in‑person and online. The role blends language instruction with cultural immersion, catering to learners from beginner to advanced levels.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver tailored German lessons using textbooks, multimedia, and real‑world resources.
- Create lesson plans, conduct quizzes, exams, and provide feedback to monitor progress.
- Foster a positive, interactive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
- Integrate German culture, history, and social practices into lessons.
- Design or adapt curriculum for specific needs such as business German or exam preparation.
- Offer individualized support outside regular class hours and respond to student queries.
- Track and report student progress to learners and, when applicable, to the employing institution.
- Maintain attendance records, grades, and feedback reports; assist in scheduling and assessments.
