Prep Cook – Fresh Fruit Bowls

About the role

Fruitify is looking for a full‑time Prep Cook to join its Bengaluru kitchen. The role combines on‑site food preparation with occasional remote planning tasks, supporting the daily production of fresh fruit bowls for workplace delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, cut, and assemble fresh fruit according to company recipes.
• Prepare additional ingredients and assist with basic cooking or baking tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food‑safety and hygiene protocols.
• Coordinate with kitchen teammates and delivery staff to meet daily production targets.
• Manage inventory of fruit and other ingredients, and report any quality issues promptly.
• Perform occasional administrative or planning work remotely, such as ordering support and schedule coordination.

Required profile

• Strong skills in food preparation and basic cooking techniques for fresh fruit.
• Interest or experience in the food‑and‑beverage sector, especially healthy or fresh‑food concepts.
• Clear, respectful communication for teamwork with kitchen, delivery, and operations staff.
• Knowledge of commercial‑kitchen food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience in a café, restaurant, catering, or commissary kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
