Plant Security Head

About the role

The Plant Security Head leads the security function of an industrial site, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers and partners while protecting assets from theft and sabotage. This senior position requires close collaboration with law enforcement, government agencies and local communities to maintain order and support corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and maintain an operational security department to prevent material theft and ensure a secure workplace.
• Coordinate with police and state authorities to uphold law and order on site.
• Engage local leaders and village heads to build intelligence networks and support CSR projects.
• Lead emergency response and disaster management activities.
• Oversee continuous CCTV surveillance and monitor system performance.
• Implement health and safety standards in line with DuPont and CHETNA guidelines.
• Apply Safety Investigation (SI), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safety Management System (SMS) procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits and review the overall security setup.
• Deploy security personnel and modern electronic equipment to mitigate risks.
• Identify training needs, coordinate skill development and support team growth.
• Perform ongoing threat evaluation to safeguard personnel and assets.

Required profile

• Graduate degree; preference for candidates with a defence or paramilitary background.
• Minimum 17 years of relevant experience in security management.
• Proven ability to lead large security teams in an industrial environment.
