Plant Security Head

About the role

The Plant Security Head leads the security function of an industrial site, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors while protecting assets from theft and sabotage.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the security department and keep operations active to prevent material theft.
• Coordinate with police, state authorities, and local leaders to maintain law and order at the site.
• Develop intelligence networks and support corporate CSR initiatives in surrounding communities.
• Implement emergency control measures, disaster management plans, and regular CCTV surveillance.
• Apply highest Health & Safety standards following DuPont/CHETNA guidelines.
• Execute SI/JSA/SMS processes as per organizational policies.
• Conduct security audits, review setups, and deploy modern electronic equipment to mitigate risks.
• Identify training needs, mentor team members, and enhance technical and behavioral competencies.
• Continuously evaluate threats to safeguard personnel and material.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Preferably a background in defence or paramilitary services.
• Minimum 17 years of relevant experience in the security domain.
