Planning and Fulfillment Specialist

About the role

ABB is seeking a Planning and Fulfillment Specialist to support its Electrification Smart Power – Critical Power UPS business in Bangalore. You will be responsible for creating engineering and production plans, managing material flow, and optimizing working capital to ensure high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Generate constrained engineering and production plans, material plans, and WIP inventory rationalisation.
• Assemble and analyse data for rough‑cut and detailed capacity planning, linking it to the demand plan.
• Manage complete import and export logistics operations to ensure timely material flow.
• Maintain inventory parameters in SAP ERP using ABC/XYZ analysis and monitor purchase‑order backlogs.
• Implement best practices in logistics, stores, and inventory management to minimise delays.
• Prepare and share regular planning and fulfilment reports with business leaders.
• Achieve targets such as SOTD, lead time, DIH and inventory turn‑ratio.

Required profile

• Diploma or BE with 10‑14 years of experience in UPS or electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Collaborative, goal‑oriented professional with strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
