Planner/Scheduler II - Construction Site

About the role

Worley is seeking a Planner/Scheduler II to join its construction team and support the delivery of large‑scale projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, construction managers and contractors to develop, monitor and report on construction schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify Level III construction programmes and, where required, Level IV schedules for critical project phases.
• Prepare and adjust the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and S‑curves for progress monitoring.
• Review tender and contract documents to understand planning and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with lead discipline engineers and construction managers to review contractor schedules, resource deployment plans and progress reporting formats.
• Consolidate contractor submissions, provide comments, and obtain approvals for schedules and resource plans.
• Report overall construction progress to the customer on an agreed basis.
• Monitor work‑front status against issued for construction (IFC) drawings and free‑issue materials.
• Identify deficiencies, communicate formally with contractors, and prepare slide packs and meeting minutes for progress reviews.
• Assist the Resident Construction Manager in monitoring internal construction management budgets.

Required profile

• Knowledge of activity sequencing, duration estimation, resource requirements and progress monitoring methods for construction activities.
• Experience reviewing construction planning and progress reporting requirements in tender/contract documents.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills to produce accurate progress updates.
